Vicente Tredinick appointed Interim CEO of Transbank

 Tredinick (57) holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, an MBA, and boasts 30 years of experience in technology and operations, primarily within multinational companies in the financial, retail, and aeronautical industries.
Santiago, January 25, 2024. Starting February 1, 2024, Vicente Tredinick Rogers will take over as the new interim CEO of Transbank, as reported by the company in an Essential Event filed with the Financial Market Commission.

Tredinick holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the Universidad de Santiago Chile and an MBA from the Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez. Additionally, he has specialized in digital transformation and board effectiveness. Since joining Transbank in June 2017, he has been serving as the Operations and Technology Division Manager for the company.

Tredinick, brings nearly 30 years of experience in technology and operations, primarily within multinational companies in the financial, retail, and aeronautical sectors. Since 2017, he has overseen Transbank's Operations and Technology Division, guiding the company's technology strategy, leading digital transformation initiatives, ensuring business continuity, and supervising critical operations essential for the seamless functioning of electronic payment processes. His responsibilities also encompass strategic planning processes and the effective implementation of projects.

His notable accomplishments include successfully implementing Transbank's technological modernization project, known as 'Journey to Cloud.' He played a pivotal role in refining the project delivery model and transitioning to agile methodologies, improving the operational stability of Transbank's platforms. Additionally, he served as one of the strategic sponsors for the technological and operational migration to the four-party model, among other initiatives.

Before joining Transbank, Tredinick held key positions, including Senior Director of Technology and Innovation at Latam Airlines and CTO of Lan Airlines. Prior to that, he served as Transactional Network Manager, Operational Excellence and Innovation Manager, and Chief Information Officer at D&S (now Walmart). He also held the position of Deputy Technology Manager at Banco Santander.
